Nakba (Catastrophe) Day is an annual hate-fest "celebrated" by Palestinians and the rogue regimes that sponsor terror and violence against Israel, the Middle East's only Western democracy. It is a rejection of Israel's right to exist.

The day is marked by rioting and violent incitement at the best of times. Today, the Hezbollah-dominated government of Lebanon and the democracy-crushing regime in Syria let their armies stand by as they let their citizens attack the Israeli border, infiltrate Israel and rampage through the other side. These actions are a deliberate violation of Israel's sovereignty and a hypocritical one at that; if Israelis were to conduct themselves so recklessly, mobbing Lebanese and Syrian border positions, no one doubts they would all be machine-gunned before they got twenty paces.

The Israeli Defense Forces have had to fire upon rioters attempting to destroy border fences and are now in the process of rounding up the violent infiltrators. Meanwhile, West Bank Arabs are engaging in their usual Nakba-day violence and Gaza-based terrorists have been caught planting explosives at the border.
