conspiracy theory

I get on the subway car and a guy with a ball cap, backpack and "9/11 was an inside job" T-shirt gets in behind me. He takes a seat, looking nervous and fidgety. Just two seconds before the doors close, he gets up and exits the train.

Why did he leave so suddenly? Kind of got me wondering: what else did this this intrepid truth-seeker with access to secret information know?

Fortunately, nothing happened; the dude's intel must have been wrong. I've got a mind to lodge a complaint if I ever see him again.

When an American soldier killed 16 civilians in Kandahar in March, condemnation was swift and it came from all sides of the war.

The US Government was quick to apologize, with US President Barack Obama stating, "The United States takes this as seriously as if it was our own citizens and our own children who were murdered." NATO immediately announced it was investigating the incident.

President Karzai, whose regime is financed in great part by US resources, slammed the US, saying to reporters a few days after the incident: "This has been going on for too long. You have heard me before. It is by all means the end of the rope here." Karzai, surrounded by media, paid visits to the victims' families and wore black for two days. He publicly participated in conspiracy theorizing that the soldier didn't really act alone, and the killings may have been planned and intentional, conspiracies that have otherwise been propagated by the likes of the Russian Government-owned RT.com and RAWA.org, and which helped add fuel to the flames in an already highly volatile situation.

The Taliban, for their part, immediately used the occasion to spurn out anti-American propaganda. They called US forces...More >>

I was stoked to make it out of Baghad alive, but I could practically feel the cult's oppressive influence as soon as I landed in Nigeria in the middle of the night. You could see it in people's dead eyes that avoided looking you straight in the eye, in the frightened whispers, and in the desolate abandoned streets where even the locals feared to tread.

The Professor had an old colleague at the University of Maiduguri who had information we could use. As usual, the contact couldn't speak freely over the phone for fear that the bad guys were listening in; but if the Professor thought it was worth a look, I wasn't going to argue with him. Besides, Iraq had been a wash and we had to get back on the trail before it went cold.

I don't know that I slept a wink at the hotel. I was sure I was followed from the airport. But a pot of coffee and the news on the ancient TV set that Boko Haram had struck another church - Church of Christ in the Nations, this time - woke me up fast. Only four dead and 38 injured this time....More >>

Destruction. Terror. Blood running in the streets. I came to Baghdad to track down the cult. All I've managed to do is be another witness to their murderous rampage and nearly get myself killed to boot.

The papers say there are 55 dead across a wide swathe of Iraq. More than 255 wounded. I was in an alley meeting with my inside man, a former cultist (or was he still in the crew and hoping to stab me in the back? I'll never know now), when the bomb went off in the restaurant across the street.

The blast was so powerful it knocked me flat on my ass. When I got back up, Mahmoud was bleeding out from some big chunks of shrapnel in the back of his head. Nothing I could do for him. I got out of there right quick; even if the cultists had already fled the scene, the locals get suspicious of blue-eyed travelers like myself.

I guess I was lucky today. I never saw the bomber, but I actually heard him shout his calling-card unholy prayer before he blew himself and a whole bunch of folks to smithereens: "Ia! Ia! Cthulhu fhtagn!"

“Top US government insider Dr. Steve R. Pieczenik, a man who held numerous different influential positions under three different Presidents and still works with the Defense Department, shockingly told The Alex Jones Show yesterday that Osama Bin Laden died in 2001 and that he was prepared to testify in front of a grand jury how a top general told him directly that 9/11 was a false flag inside job.”

This story made its way around the globe, spread by crackpots of the far right and far left - but also mentioned at the “Forbes” blog. An, er, reputable website called “White Pride Forever” notes: “If everything Pieczenik says is true, then he needs to make good on his promise to testify before a federal grand jury. By indicting the Zionist traitors for their crimes against America and the world, he would go down as the greatest patriot in American history.“

Pieczenik cannot be dismissed as a “conspiracy theorist”, leading conspiracy theorists assure us:

he served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State under three different administrations, Nixon, Ford and Carter, while also working under Reagan

What a fabulous coincidence! Still reeling from the humiliation of the Osama bin Laden raid (and its implications for any last shred of credibility for Pakistan as an "ally" in the war on terror), the Pakistani ISI has announced they have good information on the whereabouts of Taliban head honcho Mullah Omar.

Conveniently, the ISI seems to think the terrorist leader is on Pakistani soil, in or around Quetta, the largest city in Balochistan province (How nice of them to reveal the timing and location of this manhunt operation ahead of time, just to give their quarry a running head start).

Coincidentally, there is a significant US and coalition forces military presence there to hinder Taliban infiltration from Pakistan into Afghanistan.

If I were conspiratorial-minded, I might think the ISI had a sneaky plan ready to go.

First, wander over to Mullah Omar's address, which has actually been known to you for a number of years. Put a bullet through the old man's skull so he can't spill any secrets. Next, dump the body in the middle of a short but dramatic staged firefight just a few...More >>

zionist bird israel mossad saudi arabia spy espionage middle east conspiracyFirst, Zionist sharks were allegedly sent by the Israeli government to ruin Egypt's tourism industry. Now it is the Zionist Bird's turn.

According to the Tabnak "news site", affiliated with Iranian Expediency Council, a spy bird with ID number X63 was captured by Saudi security forces on 27 December 2010.

Tabnak added that "the name, Israel, is carved onto the device that was mounted on the body of the bird. Also spy personnel number of X63 leaves no doubt that other birds are going to be sent by the Zionist regime for espionage against Saudi Arabia and other countries."...More >>

julian assange wikileaks guardian legal britain sweden case policeWikileaks front man Julian Assange might not be a rapist. But at the very least, he appears to be a sexually inept weirdo. Courtesy of the Guardian:

Another friend told police that during the evening Miss A told her she had had "the worst sex ever" with Assange: "Not only had it been the world's worst screw, it had also been violent."

Assange seems to think that being unconscious implies consent (which if valid, ought to vindicate drink-spiking frat boys and nightclub predators around the world):

She had awoken to find him having sex with her, she said, but when she asked whether he was wearing a condom he said no.

And how could anyone resist this sort of classy, romantic advance?

She told police that Assange had continued to make sexual advances to her every day after they slept together and on Wednesday 18 August had approached her, naked from the waist down, and rubbed himself against her.

Assange has managed to seduce so-called progressives willing to overlook his personal failings. As more...More >>

george galloway stopwar peace activist war jihad hezbollah lebanon middle eastIf one were to accept the insistence of disgraced former UK MP George Galloway and his supporters, one would assume that Galloway is a peace activist; that Galloway desires and cherishes peace.

This would be a grave error. Recent statements given by Galloway during a visit to Edmonton seem to show he isn't that interested in a genuine peace, so much as a one-sided war.

In Edmonton, Galloway spoke to the recent revelations implicating in the assassination of Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri.

“We are told this crime was committed by the Lebanese resistance,” Galloway told his audience. “And we’re told it with the same certainty, by the same people who told us so certainly that Syria had been responsible for this. And we’re supposed to believe it.”

To treat each set of allegations as identical would be facile and cynical. The allegations against Syria were based on the testimony of informants (regardless of how reliable these informants may or may not be). The allegations against Hezbollah are based on evidence.

But not

Israel LobbySick of naive protesters joining forces with militant fascists and conspiracy theorists casting the Israel Lobby in North America as a poisonous influence? The Propagandist features a six-part series of essays confronting the critics. Contributed by Daniel Schloss, a former Israel lobby insider.

The Israel Lobby

"When one boils it down to the bare essentials: the Lobby is interested in presenting Israel in a positive light, of course. It recognizes that the honest and effective means of doing this is not by presenting Palestinians as evil, but to show the honest views of all parties with a vested interest in the region.

"The anti-Israel gang of activists (I’d call them pro-Palestinian, but what have they ever done for the Palestinians they claim to represent?) strive to show Israel, as a place of intolerance, racism and illegitimacy. And I’ll...More >>
