Three attacks so far by a killer (or killers) on a moped. Three French soldiers were shot and killed earlier this month. The latest assault is on a Jewish private school, where both adults and children have been murdered.

It seems likely that France is going the way of Nigeria, Algeria, Somalia and a host of other countries where maniacs kill at will in the name of God.

If this turns out to be an organized attack planned and funded by a state actor, it would not be at all surprising to learn that the assassin was Iranian. There have been a number of spectacular foiled attacks on Israeli diplomatic missions and Jewish targets abroad by Iranian agents in multiple countries. This series of failures may have motivated the Iranians to switch to softer targets of opportunity.
