Young Girls Forced Into Marriage in England
In a sense, this phenomenon of child brides in England is a return to traditional family values... from the Dark Ages. Curiously, the human rights advocacy crowd as well as law enforcement agencies don't seem to have much urgency in dealing with 3,000 forced marriages per year in the UK alone.
Girls as young as nine-years-old are being forced into marriage in the London Borough of Islington, with marriages carried out by back street Imans. Although child marriage is illegal in Britain, families circumvent the law by conducting marriages in shariah courts attached to mosques.
To be fair, it's not like the UK isn't throwing some police resources at the problem. But clearly, what they're doing isn't even slowing down these widespread mosque-approved marriages.
Perhaps the problem is one of definition. If we were to change the description from "traditional child bride" to "permanent child rape victim" and locked up all of the rapists (er, "husbands"), perhaps some extra resources might be thrown at the problem. We might even see a reduction in the number of religiously-sanctioned pedophiles applying for residency in the country.
For now, we see that these grotesque neanderthals who see marriage as a license to rape kids are not only thriving in the UK, but confident enough to call for the abolishment of restrictions on the custom. (Note: no clue about the authenticity of the video below, since the creator is anonymous, presumably to avoid being tracked by the cops. But it's still the most disturbing thing you're likely to watch all week).
